Pericopes est un duo jazz Italien (piano-sax) qui m\u00e9lange jazz et styles europ\u00e9ens avec improvisation, avant-garde et musique Afro-Am\u00e9ricaine.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Pericopes+1<\/strong> \u00bb est un projet Trans-Atlantique, avec Alessandro Sgobbio<\/strong>, pianiste et compositeur, le saxophoniste Emiliano Vernizzi<\/strong> (professeur au Conservatoire Sup\u00e9rieur de Parme, Italie) et le batteur new-yorkais Nick Wight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort des id\u00e9es nouvelles et du groove puissant apport\u00e9s par le new-yorkais, le trio va red\u00e9finir les contours de son r\u00e9pertoire en l’agr\u00e9mentant de sonorit\u00e9s plus avant-gardistes. Ils jouent ensemble une musique c\u00e9r\u00e9brale tout en conservant leur spontan\u00e9it\u00e9 et leur sensibilit\u00e9…

\u00ab\u00a0These Human Beings est en tr\u00e8s bon exemple de collaboration entre musiciens italiens et am\u00e9ricains. Vernizzi, Sgobbio et Wight n’ont aucun probl\u00e8me \u00e0 trouver un territoire commun, en utilisant des \u00e9l\u00e9ments post-bop ou avant-garde. Dans les deux cas, These Human Beings fonctionne \u00e0 tout avantage de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>
